ZIZ News…February 21, 2010 – The members of the St Kitts Evangelical Association (SKEA) have shown their public support to President Bishop Ron Dublin-Collins in a press release they have issued.
The press release states that following a meeting held yesterday, Saturday 20th February by the Association, Bishop Dublin-Collins, in his dealings with the Christmas Child Gift project and working on behalf of the St Kitts Evangelical Association to help to provide Christmas gifts for the children of St Kitts, always had the best interest of the nation’s children at heart.
The Evangelical Association states that they congratulate Bishop Dublin-Collins for paying his own money to the customs, to settle our, the SKEA, indebtedness to the customs.
They continue that: “We support Bishop Ron Dublin-Collins’ zeal and determination to stand for truth without fear or favour as he acts in the role of president of the St Kitts Evangelical Association.”
The religious organisation adds that derogatory remarks made against Bishop Ron Dublin-Collins in the media will not dissuade the Evangelical Association’s commitment to work together to unify the churches and to bring hope to the nation under the leadership of Bishop Ron Dublin-Collins.
The press release concludes that the Evangelical Association calls the nation to a time of prayer for this situation, for the healing of our nation, and for peace and stability. We now turn this over in the hands of God.
