Suriname central bank presents to Indian investors

New Delhi, India — The Central Bank of Suriname presented a session on opportunities in Suriname on the backdrop of the visit of a delegation from the ministry of foreign affairs to India, which was hosted by the Hon. Consul of Suriname, Asif Iqbal, in New Delhi.

The presentation was made by William Orie, the advisor to the governor of the Central Bank of Suriname, Gillmore Hoefdraad. The meeting was attended by various members of the business community. There were a number of questions on various investment opportunities, mining enquiries, and travel queries.

A business delegation from India will travel along with the visit of India’s Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj to Suriname during the last week of March.
