Third cop arrested in robbery/abduction case

KINGSTON, Jamaica–A third policeman has been arrested in connection with a robbery/abduction, which allegedly occurred in Denham Town, Kingston 14 on Sunday, June 22.

The cop was picked up at his home Wednesday evening by a team from the Anti-Corruption Branch, a Corporate Communications Unit release said.

He is to face an identification parade.

The two policemen who were previously arrested in the incident remain in custody.
