Two killed by the gun on Monday

Kingston, Jamaica — Two men were shot dead by unknown assailants in separate incidents on Monday.

Reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that around 8:30 pm explosions were heard and it was later discovered that Oneil Morgan, a taxi operator in St Catherine, was shot in the head.

He was pronounced dead at hospital.

Meanwhile, in the vicinity of Torrington Bridge, St Andrew, Everton Purcell was approached by a gunman who shot him in the head. He was rushed to hospital where he later died.

No motive has been established for the murders.
