Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine White Coat Ceremony for New Students

St. Kitts, May 19, 2022 (RUSVM) — On Monday, May 16, the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine (Ross Vet) proudly welcomed the new Summer Semester Cohort and Class of 2025 to the veterinary profession at their White Coat Ceremony.

During the ceremony, students are “cloaked” in their first white coat and together, as a class, recite the Veterinary Student Oath. The oath stresses the students’ commitment to the process of continuous professional improvement of themselves, their classmates, and the profession of veterinary medicine.
This year’s keynote address was given by Dr. Gilda Rawlins-Vaughan who is responsible for Diagnostic Imaging within the small animal clinic at RUSVM and also lectures in Diagnostic Imaging and provides imaging labs for the students.
