12 Junior Calypsonians Set to Compete in Junior Calypso Competition

The National Carnival Committee has announced the 12 Junior Calypsonians set to compete for the Junior Calypso Competition scheduled for Friday 16th December at Carnival Village.

The competitors are the reigning king Leonardo Robinson competing as “King Leo”, Joel Henry or “King Scribbles”, K’ Moya Laws with stage name “Singing Solution”, Shamar Pemberton the “Mighty Midget”, Tereke Rawlins as “Mighty Reke”, Rhasaani Gordon as “Mighty Saani”, Jackiema Flemming singing as “Miz Charismatic”, Damian Burroughs as the “Singing Caper”, Shajunee Gumbs as “Singing Shaddy”, Danny Isles competing as the “Mighty Dan”, Danielle Allen as “Princess D” and Jahniah Roach entering as “Lady Niah”.

The Junior Calypsonians will be at the Independence Square on Friday 9th December from 3pm, showcasing a sample of their talent at the National Carnival Committee’s Youth Rally.
