Dreamy Group Teaches Young Girls Entrepreneurship Through Flowers

BASSETERRE — The Dreamy Group is turning its vision of developing young talent beyond the football field into action through A Blooming Touch: Building & Blooming Talent.

Developed through a shared vision between The Dreamy Group and Venom Academy, with the support of the Department of Sports, the initiative combines girls’ football with entrepreneurship education, creativity and practical skills development.

This week, the programme reached Beach Allen Primary School with two learning experiences.

Last Tuesday, Ms. Sharon Rattan of Women Empowering Girls (WEG) delivered an interactive entrepreneurship session, encouraging the girls to recognise their interests, explore their potential and understand how skills and ideas can create future business opportunities. The session formed part of The Dreamy Group’s collaboration with WEG to provide entrepreneurship education.

Today, The Dreamy Group delivered hands-on floral design and balloon artistry training, giving the girls an opportunity to explore their creativity and learn practical skills associated with the weddings and events industry.

“When we developed the concept for A Blooming Touch, we wanted to create something that went beyond football,” said Natalie John, Founder and CEO of The Dreamy Group. “Our goal is to expose young girls to different opportunities and help them discover talents they may not even know they possess. A skill learned today can become an opportunity tomorrow, and perhaps even a business in the future.”

Through A Blooming Touch, The Dreamy Group is bringing its experience in florals, events and entrepreneurship directly into the classroom, helping young girls connect creativity with opportunity.

The Dreamy Group thanks Venom Academy, the Department of Sports, Women Empowering Girls, The Cable, the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association, participating schools and other programme partners for their contributions.

Because blooming is not only about discovering what you can do. It is about discovering what you can become.
