2014 Regional HIV Testing Day

(ZIZ)– Regional Testing Day 2014 was observed in St. Kitts today [Friday] as health officials and volunteers gathered on Bank Street to conduct free HIV screenings for the general public.

ZIZ News learnt that each year the Ministry of Health makes HIV Testing more accessible by bringing the tests to the public.

Before each test, the Health official would counsel each patient, giving them information and advice on what to do when they receive their results.

A senior health official said that while the public testing events are done twice per year, free HIV Testing is done all year round at various clinics.
