The recently held First Annual St. Kitts 2Ball Invitational Golf Tournament has been described as a success.

Golf teams from Ontario and their guests travelled to the Federation to take part in the competition.

At the end it all, the St. Kitts-Nevis team of Dave Ramsumair and Lorena Clarke took the top spot and the trophy.

The runner-up team consisted of Lindsay Knowlton of the Rosedale Golf Club in Toronto and Anand Harridyal of the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club.

The Most Honest Team award went to Rick and Lynn Barlett from Eagle Lake Ontario.

Special mention was also given to Lindsay Knowleton, who shot 66 to set the female course record at the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club.

The St. Kitts Tourism Association in collaboration with the Golf Association of Ontario hosted the St. Kitts 2Ball Invitational, as part of a 3-year partnership to drive golf travel from the Canadian market.

Also taking part in the tournament were golf media and key influential persons to report on the quality of the golfing experience that St. Kitts and Nevis has to offer.

Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Lindsay Grant, made the feature address at the tournament’s awards banquet, held at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
