3rd Batch of Primary School Finalists for RCL Talent Search 2013 Decided

Central Zone Dance Finalist – Ryanne Liburd, Immaculate Conception

Basseterre, St Kitts — 27th May 2013 — In the late afternoon of 23rd May 2013 Rotarians and Rotaractors along with volunteer Judges of Dance, Poetry and Vocal Music made their way to the St. George’s Anglican Church Hall to witness the performances of the students from the Central Zone Primary Schools in their Eliminations in the Rotary Club of Liamuiga (RCL) 2013 Talent Search Competition.

Notwithstanding the last minute withdrawal of a number of schools, the audience had much to experience in the excellent presentations by the Central Zone participants.

When the dust had settled it was determined that Ryanne Liburd of Immaculate Conception Catholic School would represent the Central Zone in the Dance Segment of the Finals and Kianja Pole of Beach Allen Primary School would represent the Zone in the Poetry Segment. Beach Allen copped a second spot in the Finals in the person of the sole male finalist in the Primary School Section of the Competition, Chrislorn Baptiste, who will represent the Central Zone in the Vocal Music Segment.

These winners of the Central Zone Primary Eliminations will challenge the winners from the West and East Zone Primary Schools Eliminations during the Finals of the Competition which will be held on Thursday, 6th June 2013 at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium, Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), Bird Rock, St. Kitts. The Finals for the High School Section of the Competition will also be held as part of the Event on 6th June.
