BASSETERRE: The St. Kitts Music Festival has announced an explosive lineup for its 2026 edition, set to take place June 25-27, featuring an impressive roster of Caribbean and international stars.
Headlining the three-day event are Grammy-winner Fantasia, soca legend Machel Montano, dancehall heavyweight Mavado, reggae icon Beres Hammond, and conscious reggae pioneers Steel Pulse. The diverse lineup also includes Luciano, Masicka, Valiant, Kranium, Aidonia, and Tarrus Riley, alongside beloved bands like Shelly & Signal Band and Krosfyah.
“We are beyond hyped to reveal the electrifying talents taking the stage for the 2026 St. Kitts Music Festival,” organizers stated in Monday’s announcement, showcasing a blend of R&B, reggae, dancehall, and soca that reflects the festival’s signature versatility.
Since its inception in 1996, the Music Festival has transformed from an economic lifeline into a cultural phenomenon. Born during a period of low hotel occupancy and sluggish business activity, the event was designed to boost visitor arrivals and stimulate commerce across the twin-island nation’s 45,000 citizens.
Economic Impact Assessment Surveys consistently demonstrate the festival’s tremendous returns during June, historically a challenging month for the hospitality sector. What began as flirtations with a jazz concept evolved into four nights of world-class entertainment spanning multiple genres.
The festival has successfully positioned St. Kitts as a major tourism destination while providing local talent exposure to international artists, promoters, and audiences. Over two decades, the event has hosted some of the world’s greatest entertainers, cementing its status as a Caribbean cultural staple.
Tickets and additional details are expected to be announced soon
