Aqua Ballers Capture Federal Netball League Crown

BASSETERRE — Sun Island Clothing Limited Aqua Ballers captured the 2026 Federal Netball League championship, defeating Coca Cola Shamrock 42-23 to complete an undefeated season and claim the league’s premier title.

The Aqua Ballers maintained their winning streak through the championship match after going undefeated during the regular season.

The 19-point victory showcased the Aqua Ballers’ depth and skill across multiple positions. Three players from the championship team earned individual awards recognition for their performances throughout the season. Rochella Challenger was named Most Accurate Shooter, while Kalique Challenger earned Best Center Court Player honors. Both accolades went to the victorious squad.

The league’s Best Defensive Player award went to Latoya Caesar of the Aqua Ballers, further underscoring the team’s well-rounded excellence.

Coca Cola Shamrock finished as runners-up in second place, while Bath United secured third place in the final standings.

The Aqua Ballers’ undefeated regular season and championship victory represent a remarkable achievement for the franchise, combining individual excellence with strong team performance across all areas of the game.
