US Into World Cup Group Of 16
The United States has reached the round of 16 at the FIFA world cup after defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina two-nil.
However, the victory came at a cost.
Star striker, Folarin Balogun, scored before being shown a red card for a rough tackle, ruling him out of the last-16 clash with Belgium.
The Americans produced an impressive display and deserved their victory, which was sealed when Malik Tillman scored a late free-kick to double their lead.
The result also means the three tournament hosts — the United States, Mexico and Canada — have advanced to the round of 16.
The United States will face Belgium in Seattle on Monday, 6th July.
