Six Become Five: Reggae Elimination Tomorrow Night

BASSETERRE — One of six remaining contestants will be eliminated from S.L. Horsfords Kittitian Superstar on Thursday night, when results of last week’s reggae round are announced.

The elimination will leave five contestants in the competition. Group 1 and Group 2 came together for the reggae round last Thursday, the third round of the 2026 season, after performing separately in the Gospel and R&B rounds.

The six contestants still in contention are Shakquanda Thomas, Romecia Prentice and Zariah Frances from Group 1, and Venelle Powell, Shezlyn Ward and Angela Samuel from Group 2.

Three contestants have already left the competition. Keshauna Amos was eliminated from the Gospel round, while Erica Doras Pemberton and Caldra Evans were eliminated from the R&B round.

Four contestants will advance to the Grand Finale, where each finalist will perform two songs, one a cappella and one with music.

S.L. Horsfords Kittitian Superstar airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. on ZIZ TV Channel 5 and across ZIZ social media platforms. The competition is produced by ZIZ Broadcasting Corporation, with the S L Horsfords and Company Limited as title sponsor.
