SKNFA Division One Starts Tonight
BASSETERRE — Division One action is back. The 2026-’27 SKNFA Division One season kicks off tonight, and for the ten clubs in the field, the chase for the top starts now.
Molineux Pitbulls FC begin their 2026-’27 SKNFA Division 1 campaign tonight against Rivers of Living Water FC, with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. at St. Peters.
Molineux finished sixth in Division 1 last season on 27 points, with eight wins, three draws and seven losses from 18 matches. They scored 42 goals and conceded 30. Their season ended on April 24 with a 3-2 loss to Mantab in St. Peters, where Travis Watson and Keita Jonis scored for the Pitbulls.
Rivers of Living Water finished at the bottom of last season’s table and open the new campaign hoping for a better run.
The second match of the night, at 8:30 p.m. at St. Peters, sends Sandy Point FC against Village Galaxy. Sandy Point is one of two clubs dropping down from the Premier League this season, while Galaxy finished third in Division 1 last year.
Friday brings Mantab against Conaree Fireball International at Saddlers, with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
Saturday’s 4 p.m. fixture at St. Peters pits Security Forces United against Trinity/Challengers United.
The opening week closes Sunday at 4 p.m. at Saddlers, where Saddlers United host Bath United, the other club relegated from the Premier League.
Lodge Patriots and Garden Hotspurs, the top two finishers in Division 1 last season, have moved up to the Premier League.
