SKN at International Tourism Conference

Marva BurroughsA[ZIZ]–A delegation made up of various tourism stakeholders will be taking part in an International Cruise Shipping Conference in Miami next week.

Public Relations Manager of the St. Christopher Air and Seaport Authority (SCASPA), Marva Burroughs told ZIZ that the goal is to look at the current demands and trends in the cruise industry and determine how the federation can adapt.

“So that we can have a holistic view as to where we fit in this big pond as it were, where we are a small fish in terms of the cruise industry and so while we are there we get a grasp as to where we fit in, what we can do to further enhance the product,” she said.

Burroughs says they’ll be looking at new trends in the industry, new cruise lines that may be emerging, and the changing industry demands.

The 30th Cruise Shipping Conference runs from March 10th – 13th in Miami.
