Culturama 40 Launches This Week

(ZIZ)– The line up and activities for Culturama 40 will be announced on Thursday, 13th March.

Executive Director of the Festival’s Secretariat, Antonio Liburd, outlined what will happen at the launch on Thursday.

“We are hoping that we would have our platinum sponsor, LIME, and other sponsors who would have already given their commitment to Culturama 40 to be present at that launch. We would also be naming the Patron of Culturama 40 at that launch…and we are also going to be having our past winners from Culturama 39.”

The actual activities for Culturama 40 will commence on June 13th.

Liburd said, “From June 13th, Friday June 13th we’re going to be having an activity every single day that would be Culturama related. On that day, June 13th, we’re hoping to launch the contestants for the Culturama 40 pageants and then following that on the Saturday, we’re hoping to have an island-wide motorcade; something like a bar hop event; and then Sunday 15th, we’re hoping to have the Culturama Anniversary Church Service and thereafter every single day we will have a Culturama activity.”

Culturama 40, a Nevis based summer festival, will run from July 25th through August 6th.
