Ministry weighs in on Fight Video

(ZIZ News) — The Ministry of Education has clarified the circumstances surrounding a video of a fight between primary school students that has been circulating on social media.

Education Officer Stanley Knight told ZIZ News that investigations revealed that the video wasn’t a bullying incident but a re-enactment of another video that went wrong.

“From the Ministry of Education’s understanding this was more of a case of children who intended to make some form of a video, whether for fun or whatever, and it escalated into an actual incident,” he said.

He said the unfortunate case was one of youthful bad judgement and added that the Ministry will make an official statement about the incident.
