(ZIZ News) — Arrests
An adult and two (2) juveniles were jointly formally arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Obstruction, two (2) counts of Resisting Arrest, two (2) counts of Battery On Police and one (1) count of Wounding With Intent, which were committed on Sunday 16th August 2015. They received bail in the sum of $25,000.00 each and they are scheduled to make an appearance at the District “A” Magistrate’s Court on Monday 5th October 2015.
Cavin Grant of Temple Ally, Basseterre was formally arrested and charged with two (2) counts of Larceny which occurred at Kings Pavilion on 10th June 2015 and on 11th August, 2015.
Kassani Warner of Downing Street, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Sacrilege, which was committed between 29th July 2015 and 4th August 2015.
Valentine Stevens of Farms Estate, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Possession on Cannabis, which occurred at Farms Estate at about 4:45 pm on Tuesday 18th August 2015.
Gavin Rogers of West Farm was formally arrested and charged for Wounding with Intent, which occurred on 25th July 2015 at Fort Street, Basseterre.
Kyle Hendricks of St. Paul Village and Glenville Brian Morton of Shadwell Estate were formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis With Intent To Supply, which occurred on Saturday 22nd August 2015. They were both bailed in the sum of $10,000.00 and they are scheduled to make appearance at the District “A” magistrate’s Court Monday 7th September 2015.

In other News: Kurt Benjamin of Buckley’s Estate was taken before court on a charge of Driving Without Due Care and Attention which occurred on 1st June 2015, he pleaded guilty and was fined $350.00 which is to be paid in two (2) weeks or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison.
A juvenile appeared before District “A” Magistrate Juvenile Sitting and was placed on probation with the following conditions;
- Keep the peace and be of good behaviour for the entire period of probation
- Attend school regularly and punctually
- Observe a curfew at his mother’s place of residence between the hours of 7:00 pm and 7:00 am
- Report to the probation officers when required to do so including receiving home visits weekly or at such places as probation officer finds
appropriate - Attend counselling to be arranged by probation officer
