Essence of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation Donates to Cardin Home

(ZIZ News) — The Essence of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation started off Christmas Day giving back to persons deemed less fortunate.

ZIZ’s cameras were at the Cardin Home to witness the foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Pamela Armstrong, hand over several neatly wrapped gifts to the home.

She said, “I’m changing my name for a few minutes to be Mrs. Claus,” adding that “On behalf of Essence, I brought gifts for you all just to give a little joy on this day, especially in the holiday season. So, I want to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas,” Armstrong said.

The home’s Kitchen Supervisor, Sandra White, accepted the donation on the residents’ behalf and recorded appreciation to the Essence of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.

“On behalf of Management, staff, and residents of the Cardin Home, I would like to say a big thank you to the Essene of Hope and I hope that you enjoy 2016 and get all that the Lord has to offer and much more,” she said.
