Police investigating incident of inflicting grievous bodily harm in Keys Village

(RSCNPF): The Special Victims Unit is currently investigating an incident of Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm that occurred in Keys Village.

The investigations have revealed that about 5.45pm on Thursday (May 05), an altercation occurred between the two male family members at a home in Keys.

During the altercation, the assailant took a pot hot water and threw it over the complainant. The victim received multiple burns to hands, neck and shoulders and chest.

He was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for treatment.

The assailant is in custody.
