Wounding in Nevis

(ZIZ News) — A young man is currently recovering in hospital in Nevis after being attacked and wounded on Tuesday night

According to a police report police responded to a report just after 8pm near X Petrol gas station in camps, Nevis

Officers found a young man on the ground with a wound to his neck.

He was being treated by a doctor who lives nearby and students who attend a medical university on Nevis.

They were able to stop the bleeding and the victim was taken to the Alexandria Hospital.

The police have taken one person into custody for questioning.

Investigations are ongoing.
