Nevis man shot and killed

(ZIZ News) — The police are investigating a homicide in Nevis where a fish vendor was shot and killed.

ZIZ understands that Gary Claxton was shot in Jessups around 3pm in what was an apparent robbery.

The police say he was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit, the Criminal Investigations Department and technicians from the Forensics Services Unit have canvassed the scene for evidence.

The investigation is ongoing.
