Autopsy performed on latest road fatality (Updated)

Terrence “2 Pac” Johnson

TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT (November 15th2012) On November 14th 2012 an autopsy was performed at the morgue of the JNF Hospital on the body of the late Terrence “2 Pac” Johnson of Prickley Pear Alley.

Resident Pathologist Dr. Dora Magdariaga concluded that death was caused by traumatic shock due to road accident.

Oliver Maynard

Following the autopsy Oliver Maynard of Molyneaux, driver of motor lorry P 7661, was formally arrested and charged for causing death by dangerous driving. He appeared before the Basseterre Magistrate Court where he was granted bail and is expected to appear before the Sandy Point Magistrate Court shortly.

The Traffic Department continues to remind motorists of their responsibility to always exercise care and caution when using the roads and drivers of lorries and other open-back vehicles, that passengers ought not to be carried in the cargo tray of these vehicles unless approved seating is installed.
