600 Delta Airlines Reservation Staffers enjoying sunny St. Kitts

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, FEBRUARY 21ST 2013 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts is playing host to 600 Delta Airlines staffers from the company’s reservation centers in Atlanta and Minneapolis in the United States.

The staffers, who are being rewarded for their performance in the company, arrived at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, here Tuesday afternoon onboard three Delta Airlines flights.

The 600 Delta staffers are guests at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. Since arriving Tuesday they have been touring the island with stops at Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park and other places of interest.

They also went on tours on the St. Kitts Scenic Railway and enjoyed trips to the rain forest, the catamaran, shopping and the island’s cuisine. They leave here on Saturday.

The major United States airline, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States operates an extensive domestic and international network serving all continents except Antarctica.

Delta Air Lines operates a weekly flight into St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport. With its subsidiaries, it operates over 5,000 flights every day with approximately 80,000 employees.

The airline’s hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the world’s busiest airport by passenger traffic (over 91 million passengers per year) and number of landings and takeoffs.
