Police Charge Individual for Firearm Found in Sandy Point

The police have been able to trace and link an individual to a gun that was found during a search operation in Sandy Point.

According to a police statement on August 18, officers from several units searched an empty piece of land in Sandy Point and one 12-gauge shotgun with several rounds of ammunition were found.

The shotgun and ammunition were taken into police custody and processed by technicians at the forensic lab.

Following investigations Denzil Stevens alias “Ganja Man” was arrested and charged for possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
