East Basseterre Festival Hosts Annual Jouvert Jam

Hundreds of revellers took to the streets on the morning of Monday, September 17th to participate in the annual East Basseterre Festival Jouvert Jam.

The annual event saw members of the East Basseterre region bouncing through the streets of Basseterre to the sounds of the Nu Vibes Band International.

The jam session began at the Newtown Sporting Complex and made its way down to the Bay Road and then through the heart of Basseterre.

The jouvert jam session will be followed by the annual Swimwear Competition at the Newtown Sporting Complex on Tuesday, September 18.

The East Basseterre festival activities are being held under the theme, “Bring back de peace in the East”.
