Cassava Workshop

Education professionals have said that they are in appreciation of the work being done to preserve and educate our nation about our local heritage by Zack Nisbett and his historical-cultural library during a special session held on Friday, students of the Sandy Point Primary School were exposed to the art of Cassava bread making.

Teacher Shawn Revan said it was a very good for the children to see cassava crafting being done after reading about it.

Facilitator of the cassava making workshop Katherine Pemberton said this is an art which is dear to her but one day like those before her she will retire from the art.

The cassava bread making workshop is one the initiatives organized by Zack Nisbett with efforts of keeping St. Kitts culture alive.
