Hundreds of persons filled the streets of downtown Basseterre for the annual Labour Day Parade.

This is an annual event held to recognize the importance of workers in St. Kitts and Nevis and is usually attended by members of the St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party.

Decked out in red the participants began at the Patsy Allers Playfield and wound their way through Basseterre before returning to the Patsy Allers Playfield.

The march was immediately followed by a rally featuring addresses by Labour Party officials.
