Young Kittitian Entrepreneur Hosts First Ever Hair & Fashion Show

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 23, 2019 (ZIZ News): Afro-kinky twists, massive kinky-curly afro’s and several braided updo’s were all on display as Jalicia Benjamin of Jalicia HairStyles hosted the first ever Cultural Flavor Hair and Fashion show this past weekend.

The show kicked off at 6 pm on Sunday, July 22 with several hairstyles that were designed and executed by Ms. Benjamin.

In an interview with ZIZ at the end of the young Kittitian entrepreneur said she has always loved the idea of fashion shows and expressed that she was pleased with the overall outcome of the event.

She also explained that having a Cultural theme was important to her because she wanted an event that focused on the impact that hair has on our culture.

Benjamin also stated that it is now her intent to make the Hair and Fashion Show an annual event.

The entrepreneur then used the opportunity to thank all sponsors and those who contributed to the success of the event.

The Cultural Flavor Hair and Fashion show took place in the Ballroom at the St. Kitts Mariott Resort.

The event was hosted by Unoma Allen.
