Donation to Sports Department

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 20, 2020 (ZIZ News): Participants of the Run for Fun Cruise Tours donated items to the Department of Sports in a short ceremony at Port Zonte on Thursday.

Among the items donated were 150 pairs of sneakers, bags and socks.

Special Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Glenn Phillip thanked the group for their kind gesture and said he hopes that the partnership between the Ministry of Sports and the Run for Fun Cruise Tours will continue in the future.

Director of Sports Anthony Wiltshire assured the group that the items will be given to athletes in need.

After the ceremony the participants of the Run for Fun Cruise, dressed in super hero costumes, went on a run around parts of Basseterre starting at Port Zante.

The Run for Fun Cruise take runners from around the world on exotic cruise vacations with organized running events scheduled at each port of call they visit which also includes a Runners Give Back program where participants of the cruise provide essentials to the islands and ports they visit based on what their needs.
