‘Digicel wows visitors at the SKIPA Expo’

ST. KITTS (JULY 2, 2010) – The Bigger, Better Network pulled out all the stops for the St. Kitts Investment Promotion Agency’s (SKIPA) highly successful inaugural Investment Summit and Expo held on June 29th & 30th, 2010 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. Supporters were certainly wowed with Digicel’s newest range of quality products and services.
As platinum sponsor for the Expo, Digicel fully embraced the event’s theme “Exploring Our Investment Opportunities” by specifically promoting its innovative business solutions. In partnership with TechSperts, IT specialists, a range of products were displayed which appealed to those who were ready to harness the full potential of their business by investing in IT and telecommunications infrastructures that suit their requirements and saves them money.
Live demos were additionally given by Digicel and TechSperts representatives on the spot, covering all the different functionalities of the ingenious gadgets on display, showing the bright future of telecoms. Viewers were left impressed to say the very least, as they found that possibilities were endless when it came to finding effective business solutions with the partner companies.

Digicel also tickled the fancies of its customers who were more eager to learn about the products and services available to fulfill their personal needs. For them, a range of handsets, phone accessories and other merchandise were at hand, on special. The DigiTeam also handed out free Digicel paraphernalia, including t-shirts, totes, caps, bandanas and more, to those who stopped by its booth.
The Summit and Expo concluded with a closing cocktail. In true Digicel style, three randomly selected attendees walked away with free Digicel devices, to include USB Modems and a Blackberry Bold 9000.
At the event, Digicel’s Marketing Manager, Sharez Laws, expressed her great pride on behalf of the company, in being able to be a part of such as creative initiative to sensitize and engage the local investment community on the range of options available to them. She applauded the SKIPA organizing committee for putting together the informative and interactive event, and encouraged similar endeavors for future.
