Tabernacle Health Centre To Be Commissioned This Week

The brand new health centre in Tabernacle will officially be commissioned and renamed on Thursday June 25 2020.

Health care services in Tabernacle were moved to the basement of the facility that housed the Daycare Centre after it was found that the building where the health centre was previously located was hazardous, and was subsequently deemed unfit for continued use.

The Republic of China (Taiwan) donated a cheque valued over US$1 million to the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis for the construction of the new health centre.

Work on the new facility began in November 2017 at a cost of $2.4 million dollars.

The commissioning and renaming ceremony is set to take place at Station Street, Tabernacle from 4:30 pm.
