A great-grand-daughter for National Hero Robert Bradshaw on the 34th anniversary of death

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, MAY 24TH 2012 (CUOPM) – A great grand-daughter for the Federation’s First National Hero, First Premier and Father of St. Kitts and Nevis Independence, The Right Excellent Sir Robert L. Bradshaw on Wednesday 23rd May 2012, the 34th anniversary of his death.

Audrina Sanura Isis was born at 6:43 p.m. on Wednesday at the St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida to Jendayi Caines, daughter of Bradshaw’s first-born and only surviving child Etsu and her husband Alfred “Sad” Caines. Audrina is Robert Bradshaw’s second great-grand-daughter.

Jendayi holds a degree in political science.

“Audrina’s birth on May 23rd, the 34th Anniversary of my father’s death means a lot to me. She (the baby) was due on the 26th May. It is great news and it was my wishful prediction and I feel that it is his spirit that has come back again with the family,” Etsu told the Communications Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister.

It was at 11:30 P.M. on May 23rd 1978 that Premier Bradshaw died at his home at Fortlands, Basseterre, St. Kitts.
