AA chooses St. Kitts to donate to needy

(ZIZ) American Airlines has chosen two charities to donate several items to.

Every year the employees select a different Island to be the recipient of their “Adopt-An-Island” project.

22 employees of the American Airlines Caribbean Employee Resource Group on Wednesday visited the residents at ADE’s Place and the Children’s Home and donated several food and craft items.

Two of the group’s representatives say the company is fulfilling its global commitment.

Josephine Claxton-Richardson, Director of ADE’s Place, an organization that works with adults with disabilities, says the donation is very timely and helps to boost what they’re trying to achieve.

They’ve collaborated with their Southeastern Reservations Office to raise funds and provide the items for this cause.
