Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 17, 2019 (ZIZ News): We have an update on an accident that occurred on the outskirts of Challengers over the weekend.
According to reports, the accident occurred at around 12:30 pm on Saturday September 14 between a white Toyota pickup truck P 496 owned by Island Purified Water and was driven by employee Kurtney Douglas of McKnight and motor vehicle RA 1113 driven Ourtic Gillard.
ZIZ understands that the pickup truck was headed towards Basseterre from Newton Ground direction and the rental was travelling towards Newton Ground from Basseterre.
Police say while travelling in opposite directions, there was a collision that led the white pickup to spin and overturn. The passenger sustained injuries to one of his hands and the driver sustained minor scratches.
However, the driver of RA 1113 did not endure any severe injuries.
Officers at the Old Road police station are continuing their investigations about the accident.
