ACP Adams on Policing with You

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 15, 2019 (ZIZ News): On the heels of an announcement made on Tuesday during a press conference at the police training school, asst. Commissioner of police, Adolph Adams and the police force’s public relations officer Jacqueline Bryan gave the public an opportunity to voice their concerns on Thursday’s episode of “Policing with You”.

Tuesday’s announcement revealed that gang members have reportedly handed over 30 guns to the police as a show of their commitment to keeping the peace in the federation.

ACP. Adams applauded to the gang members who came forward.

I would like to take this opportunity to commend those individuals for coming forward and putting down their weapons and demonstrating to our country that they are fed up of the gang violence that was taking place in the community and it shows that they are concerned about their lives.”

Public relations officer, Jacqueline Bryan explained that the gang members are solely responsible for this initiative.

ACP. Adams also stated that the upsurge of crime in February has had an effect on the resources of the police force and the health services.
