Sports Page — Nevisian all-rounder Adelvin Phillip continues to lead all bowlers as he put in another fine performance on Saturday 22nd August.
His team Pannal CC engaged Newby Hall CC and sent them in to bat on a damp track. Newby Hall CC was bowled out for 120, with Phillip snaring 3 for 16 with his medium pacers.
He now has a clear lead in the wickets department of the league and has also moved to second place in the MVP standings, just behind an Australian professional.
Pannal CC knocked off the total for the loss of 1 wicket in just 14 overs.
Phillip is anxiously looking forward to securing both the top bowler and MVP spots at the end of the league.
