Sports Page — After a period of incessant rain, Adelvin Phillip and his club Pannal CC were back out on the field of play on Saturday 15th August.
In bright, sunny conditions, they engaged Killing Hall CC.
Killing Hall batted first on the seamer friendly track and was bundled out for a mere 88 runs.
Adelvin Phillip had his best English league figures with the amazing figures of 7 overs; 5 maidens; 5 wickets for 5 runs!
He has now catapulted to the the status of leading wicket taker in the league with his 41 wickets and he still has a few more games to go.
Pannal CC knocked off the required target without the loss of a wicket—92 for no loss at the end.
Pannal CC remains top of the league standings, with a clear lead of 12 points.
