Alsanarda Hanley captured the Miss Popularity Award

At the recently staged Miss Caraibes Hibiscus International held in St. Martin over last weekend, our Federation’s representative Miss Alsanarda Hanley captured the Miss Popularity Award from a field of 18 competitors.

Most certainly a crowd favorite from the start of the competition, Miss Hanley turned out excellent performances in each of the judged segments including Speech/Cultural Wear, Swimwear, and Evening Gown. Her experience as a pageant contestant, model and National Ambassador certainly captivated the appreciative audience which included a large following from her home country.

The Miss St. Kitts-Nevis Caraibes Hibiscus Committee expressed it profound pleasure with Miss Hanley’s performance at the competition. Commenting on behalf of her committee Miss Gloria Esdaille was also in attendance at the pageant and said, “Miss Hanley’s performance has left an indelible memory in the minds of all who were present at the pageant. The quality production she exhibited certainly showcased her highly competitive spirit which was no doubt nurtured under the guidance of Ms. Julie Rile and Ms. Denise Daniel. Her performance also showed that her stature and petite frame does not limit her ability to model any form of fashion that can be created. She was spectacular!”
