Ambassador Liburd Presents Credentials To UN

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 5th, 2021 (ZIZ News) St. Kitts and Nevis’ Ambassador to the United Nations His Excellency Ian Liburd has presented his credentials to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

In a brief ceremony on Wednesday Ambassador Liburd met with Mr. Gueterres and officially presented his documents.

The Secretary General welcomed Ambassador Liburd and pledged the UN’s commitment to assist with the global challenges that small states like the federation face.

Ambassador Liburd was appointed as the Federation’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in January.
