Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 12, 2019 (ZIZ News): The St. Christopher National Trust and National Museum is hosting its Annual Heritage House Storytelling Series from July 13th to August 31st.

The story telling series continued on Saturday with Hon. Vance Amory reading Nelson’s West Indian Reader books 2 and 3 to the participants.

The program was created for children ages 6-12 in order to get them involved in the federation’s history and heritage at a young age.

Volunteers from St Kitts and Nevis read stories that encourage the use of imagination and creativity.

In the past, readers have included Governor General His Excellency Sir S.W. Tapley Seaton GCMG CVO QC JP, Minister of Education Hon. Shawn Richards and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism Carlene Henry Morton.

Upcoming readers for this series will include Jihan Williams and Creighton Pencheon.
