Applications now open for pre service training for teachers

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 5, 2019 (ZIZ News): The Ministry of Education is currently accepting applications for teaching positions to be filled for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.

Acting Chief Education Officer Darryl Lloyd said all applicants will be expected to attend a two week pre-service seminar/workshop at the Advanced Vocational Education Centre (AVEC) daily from July, 8th through 19th 2019.

He further outlined the qualifications required in order for applicants to be considered.

As the deadline for application nears, Mr. Lloyd is encouraging interested persons to apply as soon as possible.

All applications can be collected at the Ministry of Education, Cayon Street and should be returned, addressed to the Chief Education Officer, no later than Friday, 7th June, 2019.
