Arrests (February 24, 2014)

(ZIZ)– A juvenile was formally arrested and charged for Threatening Language, which was committed on 13th February 2014.

Jaron Francis of Farm Site, Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 16th February 2014.

Allan Williams of Carty Alley, Newtown was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 16th February 2014 at Sandy Point.

A juvenile was formally arrested and charged for the offence of House Breaking and Larceny, which was committed on 17th February 2014, and Larceny, which was committed between 4th and 7th February 2014.

Meanwhile, John Joseph Gumbs of Pond Road was convicted for Indecent Language, Battery on Police, Resisting Arrest and Littering, which were committed on 27th November 2013.  For Indecent Language, he was fined $250.00 which is to be paid in two (2) months or will serve one(1) month in prison, for Battery, he was fined $350.00 which is to be paid in two (2) months or will serve two (2) months in prison and for Littering, he was fined $100.00 which is to be paid in fourteen (14) days or will serve fourteen (14) days in prison. He was cautioned for Resisting Arrest charge.

Enva Pemberton of Cayon was convicted for Insulting Language, Abusive Language and Disorderly Conduct By Making Noise, which were committed on 30th September 2013.  For Insulting Language, he was fined $500.00 which is to be paid in six (6) weeks or will serve two (2) months in prison, for Abusive Language, he was fined $500.00 which is to be paid in six (6) weeks or will serve two (2) months in prison and for Disorderly Conduct By Making Noise, he was fined $700.00 which is to be paid in two (2) months or will serve two (2) months in prison.
