Artists and students invited to participate in biodiversity character design competition

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 7, 2020 (ZIZ News): Artists and art students across St. Kitts & Nevis are being invited to participate in a mascot design competition this month.

The competition will prompt creative minds to design a Biodiversity Character.

This character would be included in all print material for an ongoing campaign to support the conservation and preservation of our marine and land resources.

The winner of the Character design will receive a cash prize of US$500.

Artistic interpretation should highlight the Federation’s areas of biodiversity to include plants/trees, water/oceans as part of the criteria. To qualify for the grand prize, the final piece should be able to be reproduced as a Card Board Cut-out. A 3-D image of the character should be presented and can attract bonus points.

Designs are to be submitted via email to: info@stchristophernationaltrust.kn

The deadline for submission is Monday February 24 2020.
