Autopsy Performed

(ZIZ)–On Saturday 4th January 2014,  Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Stephen Jones performed a post mortem examination on the body of 65yrs old Cedric Rondolph Butler of Hickman’s Village Gingerland who was found dead at his residence on Friday 27 December 2013, and concluded that death was due to gunshot injury.

In other news: On Friday 3 January 2014, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force seek the assistance of the general public in the apprehension of Rasheem Gaskin of Yearwood Street, Cayon as he was deemed a person of interest the investigation of Attempted Murder which occurred on 13 December 2013.

The general public is hereby notified that on Saturday 4 January 2014, Rasheem Gaskin surrendered to police officers at the Basseterre Police Station.

Commissioner CG Walwyn, the staff of the Violent Crime Unit, and the entire Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force take this opportunity to thank the media houses and the persons who were instrumental in the surrender of Rasheem Gaskin. Commissioner Cg Walwyn therefore encourages members of the general public to continue to assist and cooperate with the police in their continued efforts to prevent and detect crime.
