Bishop of St. John’s-Basseterre meets Pope Benedict XVI

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 4TH 2012 (CUOPM) – Bishop of the Co-Cathedral of St. John’s-Basseterre, Monsignor Kenneth Richards (left) in audience at the Castel Gandolfo with the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI during the recent Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith (Propogandei Fide) Seminar.

Bishop Richards was among 91 newly ordained Bishops from 42 countries attending the Seminar at the Vatican.

Monsignor Richards is Bishop of the Diocese of Saint John’s-Basseterre, comprising the islands of Antigua and Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis, Montserrat, Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands.

Bishop Richards is the former Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Kingston and Rector of the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Jamaica.
