Black Rocks to receive $3 million facelift in 2017
(ZIZ News) — Minister of Tourism Hon. Lindsay Grant has revealed that the Ministry is focusing on improving historical sites across the federation to enhance the visitor experience.
He spoke specifically of Black Rocks located at Bellevue which he said will receive a 3 million dollar facelift in 2017.
“We have started roads in Black Rocks. We have started tree planting in the black rock area and this year we are going to put down the booths that vendors will sell from; 3 million dollars. We are gradually refurbishing, gradually uplifting, gradually enhancing all the historic sites that we have,” he said.
Minister Grant was at the time addressing a press conference on Thursday, signalling the significance of the arrival of over 16, 000 passengers, which he described as a remarkable achievement for the tourism industry.
