Book repair workshop

(ZIZ)– The Ministry Of Education and the Charles A Halbert Public Library are helping teachers to get a few extra years out of the textbooks they use every day.

A two-day workshop on book repair is being held at the library focusing on various repair techniques.

Facilitator Agnes Lawrence is conducting the sessions aimed at teachers from each of the high schools.

This workshop falls under the Student Education Learning Fund, or SELF, project.

The SELF program was first launched in 1989, then re-introduced in 1995 and provides texts books to students free of cost.
