British High Commissioner pays Courtesy Calls on SKN Leadership

Basseterre, St. Kitts (SKNIS) — Collaboration and strengthening of bilateral relations was the focus of a courtesy call on Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris on Tuesday (April 7) by Her Excellency Mrs. Victoria Dean, the British High Commissioner to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

During the visit, High Commissioner Dean took the opportunity to express congratulations to Prime Minister Harris on his government’s victory at the polls almost two months ago and conveyed her Government’s desire to continue a strong relationship with the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Commenting on the visit, Prime Minister Harris stated, “the discussions were fruitful and centered on areas of ongoing interest such as the citizenship by investment program, national security, support to sports development, technical assistance and education.”

Her Excellency also paid courtesy visits on Deputy Prime Minister, the Honourable Shawn Richards, Attorney General – the Honourable Vincent Byron, and Cabinet Secretary Mrs. Josephine Huggins.
